    Messages from the Board

    Monthly board meeting main topic was to determine board member positions.

    Additional pothole repairs are being investigated based on resident reports.

    Community Development

    The board is looking into possibly having security cameras placed around the community for added security. The general idea is to phase in cameras year-by-year starting with two cameras. meeting to determine board members. Three positions were up for election.

    Neighborhood

    NOTICE: Residents should lock your cars when not in use and at night. Reports from residents are coming in about unauthorized car entry and vandalism. Cars that are unlocked are having valuables stolen.

    All board members not up for election maintain there current roles. One member is reelected and three new members join to the board.

    Messages from the Board

    The next monthly board meeting is scheduled for Monday March 9th at 6:30 pm. Homeowners are encouraged to join. The owners forum for questions will occur directly following board business.

    Repairs

    Additional pothole repairs are being investigated based on resident reports. The one closest to the entrance of the neighborhood (Unit 1002) has been noted

    Electrical lamp posts and end unit lights are being repaired by electricians. If you note of any more light outages please notify the board using the website homepage submission form.

    Community Development

    Cameras for the community are still being investigated. Currently the board has decided to table cameras as other areas and projects in the community have priority. The board will re-examine cameras once priority projects have an action plan.

    Trash such as plastic water bottles and snack bags have been noted around bulk waste up to the street. Its believed that children may be coming home from school are littering since no waste receptacle is available. To combat this the board has purchased a new industrial trash can for community use it will be located near bulk waste. Please do not dispose of household waste in the bulk waste area.

    Residents should be aware that winter brings unexpected snow showers. Please be advised of any weather reports that may affect our area. If the board determines snow removal is necessary. Our plowing contractor and residents will be notified.

    Message from the Board

    The next monthly board meeting is scheduled for Monday April 13th at 6:30 pm. Homeowners are encouraged to join. The owners forum for questions will occur directly following board business.

    A Board position for clubhouse manager is now open to homeowners who are in good standing with the HOA.

    The WGHA Board would like to thank Deborah Jefferson for all the work she as done in managing our club house, getting it cleaned, and maintaining it for the community.

    Financials are now available on the website under the “Libraries” tab.

    Current Repairs

    Pot holes around the neighborhood are being temp repaired with cold patch in an effort to save the HOA money. Permanent repairs will be made towards the end of the summer at one time.

    As of now the pool will remain closed indefinitely. Our goal is to reduce resident delinquencies payments to a level that allows banks to reconsider investing in our community for a loan. If you are experiencing difficulty paying dues or fees, please contact the Board—we’re here to help explore options and support you.

    The board has approved fence repairs due to downed fencing toward the entrance of the neighborhood. If the selected contractor shows promising work. The Board may utilize them to repair other downed or broken fencing that has been noted within the community

    The Bulk Waste site was recently damaged. The Board believes this is due to the City waste removal trucks that use a claw to pick up majority of the waste. Once Board approved repairs are made The Board will attempt to invoice the City. If anyone has any information on this or has seen or recorded the truck removing waste please provided it to the Board via our email at wgboard@wg-hoa.com.

    Spring has sprung! are you prepared? Architectural reviews are being completed once again. myStreet will be performing this function moving forward. Please be prepaid for any repairs that may need to be performed for your unit. myStreet will advise residents of when repairs will need to complete.

    Residents are reminded that when walking pets they need to pick up and dispose of pet waste in either home garbage receptacles or one of the four dumpsters. Residents found violating community guidelines will be fined.

    Towing is now being enforced at the owners expense in the community. Please ensure vehicles are operational and have current tags and inspections. Find more information about towing on our website in the Q&A section.

    Community Development

    Community cameras are still being investigated. Currently the board has decided to table cameras. However given recent damage done to the bulk waste site and homeowners requesting video footage to be checked, this may be sooner than anticipated. More information will be available within the upcoming months.

Its believed that children may be coming home from school and are littering since no waste receptacle is available. To combat this the board has purchased a new industrial trash can for community use it will be located near bulk waste. Please do not dispose of household waste in the bulk waste area. The current location of the new receptacle is temporary. A new location may be warranted dependent on use.

    The WGHA Board is hosting a Game Night! come join us April 18th @ 2pm for fun and games. Come and get to know your community members. There will be board games, card games, and more! See you there!
